Together with Our affiliates, We operate or provide access to several websites and mobile and desktop applications (“Services”), including and the applications SpeedTestPlus and mi-inta.

The Services are provided free of charge, are intended for use as-is, and are not intended for use by children especially those under 13. We do not collect or otherwise process any information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation that may be deemed to be sensitive under GDPR.


By using the Services, You agree to the collection and use of Your information in accordance with this policy.

The words of which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Internet Protocol Address (referred to as "IP address" in this Policy) means the globally unique public address assigned to Your device or local network by the ISP at the time You use the Services.


Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.


Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.


Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a mobile phone or a digital tablet.


Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Services or from the Services infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Advertising Id means the unique, user-resettable identification number for advertising associated with a device running either the Android or iOS operating system (also known as "IDFA").

Device Id means a unique identifier set when You first use the Services to allow classification and aggregation of further and subsequent use of the Services separately from first time usage.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

User Information

While using the Websites, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. If You do not wish to contact Us, You do not need to provide us with User Information. User Information we may ask for includes:

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Services.

When using the Websites, Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's IP address, operating system, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Websites that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, Device Id and other diagnostic data.

When You use the Applications, automatic collection of information is limited to the following:

Application: SpeedTestPlus

Device Id

Modem / router make / model, along with any modem status or error code derived

IP address, ISP and approximate geo-location derived from IP address

Date and time of any speed test, number of test threads and results thereof

Application: mi-inta

No data collected

Neither SpeedTestPlus nore mi-inta collect advanced analytics, crash reports or any other information outside of that specifically listed above.

When collected, Usage Data is sent to Google Analytics for storage, collation and presentation to Us. 

In order to present advertising to You, Your Advertising Id is sent to Admob, a service provided by Google. We do not send any other Personal Data to Admob. Both Android and iOS allow You to reset your Advertising Id in the device system settings, or allow you to set a non-unique Advertising Id by selecting 'Opt out of Ads Personalization' in Android or 'Limit Ad Tracking' in iOS.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

Cookies are small text files that can be used by websites to make a user's experience more efficient.


We use Cookies to track the activity on Our Websites and to store certain information in order to improve and analyse Our Services. The Company may use, or process, Personal Data for the following purposes:

In relation to Usage Data from the Websites, to evaluate information on Your recent visits and how You move around different sections of Our Websites for analytics purposes to understand how people use our Websites so that we can make them more intuitive.

In relation to Usage Data from SpeedTestPlus, to prepare reports ("SpeedTestPlus Reports") on the performance of ISP data speeds and modem performance aggregated across broad geographical locations and timeframes.


We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:

With Service Providers: We will not share your User Information with Our Service Providers. We may share Your Usage Data with Service Providers only as necessary to provide the Service and only where Our Service Providers provide the same or equal protection of Your Personal Data as that provided by Our Privacy Policy.

For Business transfers: We may share or transfer Your Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

With Affiliates: We may share Your Personal Data with Our Affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honour this Privacy Policy. 

With business partners: We will not share your User Information with Our business partners. Will will not share your Usage Data where it is identifiable by Device Id or IP address. 

Law enforcement: Under certain circumstances, We may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Other legal requirements. We may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to either comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend Our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services, protect the personal safety of Users of the Services or the public, or

to protect against legal liability


Legal Basis for the use, or processing, of Your Personal Data:

We process your Personal Data either with Your consent or out of legitimate interests.

When You visit Our Websites, We seek Your consent to use Cookies. 

When You use Our Applications, We have a Legitimate Interest in processing Your Usage Data. In the case of SpeedTestPlus, We have a Legitimate Interest in sharing SpeedTestPlus reports with ISPs, modem manufacturers and industry regulators to help them improve Internet services within their respective sphere of influence. We have carried out a Legitimate Interests Assessment in accordance with the GDPR.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We will retain User Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will retain Your Usage Data indefinitely. 

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.
